Thai Pavillion: Rockville, MD

  • Taste: Excellent
  • Service: Good. We love the outdoor seating which puts you at the heart of the town square.
  • Decor: Modern
  • Pricing: Above Average
  • Would we return? Yes.

Sur La Place: The Palisades

  • Taste: Good. I ordered the organic hen. It was tasty, but needed more sauce.
  • Service: Good. Our waitress was very friendly.
  • Decor: Traditional
  • Pricing: Above Average
  • Would we return? Yes.

Cafe Belga: Capitol Hill

  • Taste: Good. The Belgian hot chocolate was the best. The breakfast seemed standard and the waffle appeared as if it came out of a wrapper.
  • Service: Good.
  • Decor: Modern. Looks like a dump from outside, but don’t let that fool you.
  • Pricing: Expensive
  • Would we return? Maybe in two months. For three, our tab came to $90. A bit steep for brunch.

Circa: Dupont Circle

  • Taste: Average. The menu is pretty standard although I have not been here for breakfast.
  • Service: Average
  • Decor: Modern. You can sit at the bar, on a long communal table or individual tables.
  • Pricing: Average
  • Would we return? Maybe

Panache: Tyson’s Corner

  • Taste: Excellent. A plus is you can order small and large portions from the entrée section.
  • Service: Excellent. Once you become regulars, you are like family.
  • Decor: Stylish
  • Pricing: Average
  • Would we return? Absolutely
